in late 2024, I asked Taku Unami to master Kevin Drumm’s Sheer Hellish Miasma II. he was thrilled to do this as Kevin was/is his favorite musician, and Kevin was very pleased with the results. during this, they did not communicate much directly, I talked to both separately.
in mid 2025, I asked Kevin and Taku to do a collaborative Erst, which they both happily agreed to. they did not talk directly though, I asked both separately. in April/May 2026, ‘zero talk’ became reality, three separate one hour collaborations approached in three different ways. Kevin and Taku did not talk directly at any point during this process. |
